After a very early start, we killed some time with a wander into the village for some much needed ice-cream.
Before we set off for the garden centre we had a quick break to finish off Emily’s birthday cake.
Upon our arrival at Fron Goch we quickly unloaded the van and got everything set up and in place for the concert.
Not letting the temperamental Welsh weather get in our way, we entertained the customers who thoroughly enjoyed our performance. Thankfully, the weather picked up in time for us to pack away and get back on the coach to head back to base for our spaghetti Bolognese.
With around one hour to cook, eat, wash up and get changed we all hurried along so not to be late for our next concert (it’s a god job that our washing team were on top form).
Despite the small audience, the bank played to their highest standard, with fantastic soloists and an overall great performance.
The band would like to thank Prestatyn Rotary Club for the snacks at the end of the concert.
All in all, it was an extremely enjoyable (and cake filled) day!
